What are my sign options?
After building a single property website, an agent or property owner will want to have a rider sign made to post in front of the property. Urban Feature used to make the signs and ship them to customers but found that customers can save money by ordering signs through their sign vendors. Real Estate Agents already have sign vendors which they use for all their sign needs and can save money by ordering the signs directly through them. They also can easily customize the sign size and color when ordering the sign through the sign vendor. Sign shops are located in every area throughout the United States.
What happens to the single property website when the property is sold?
Once the property is sold, you may log in to Urban Feature using your email and chosen password and click "Edit an Existing Listing". From here you may find the sold listing and remove it.
How do I get my Agent Logo?
Most Real Estate Agents can obtain their company or agency logo by asking an office manager, marketing associate, corporate office or technical group.
How are potential customers directed to the single property website?
Most potential customers will be directed to the website by taking note of the property website name on the listing sign in the yard of the property. However, Urban Feature highly recommends that Real Estate Agents and property Owners use the website name in all printed advertisements to further expose the property. People who visit the single property website may also forward a link to the property website to a friend or associate increasing traffic and exposure even more. A good way to gain exposure for your property website would be to include a link on your mls page for other agents to view and forward to clients.
What are the system requirements for building and viewing property websites?
Urban Feature is a web-based application generating websites and the only system requirements are a computer and an internet connection.
How do you handle multiple listings and does each get its own website name?
Understanding that Real Estate Agents and Property Owners may have the need to list multiple properties, Urban Feature has eliminated redundant steps. Once you have created your account as a Property Owner or uploaded "Agent Photo" and "Agent Logo", as a Real Estate Agent, you will not need to enter your personal information for each listing as it will always be stored with your account information. Each property website built will get its own website name.
Who owns the domain/website name?
In order to reduce costs to agents and increase efficiencies, Urban Feature owns the domain name. The domain names are registered for 1 year and may be transferred to the agent or property owner at that time if they should desire to keep the name.
How long does a single property website take to become viewable?
Once you have completed the process of creating a single property website, Urban Feature registers the domain name. Then the website goes into a period of propagation. Propagation refers to the process of telling all of the computers around the world that there is a new website and how to find it. This period of time should be less than 2 hours but can take as long as 24 hours in rare circumstances, far faster than most big domain name registration companies.
Can I build the single property website myself or do I need help from Urban Feature?
Urban Feature was designed with every user in mind. The simple to use wizard takes little time to go through and create a property website all by yourself. You can add property details, highlights, summary and up to 32 photos! You even get to choose your website name for that property website. Is there any type of contract required with Urban Feature?
